Gamma Neutron Products, Inc. (GNP) was founded in 2003, to design and distribute hand-held and portable nuclear radiation detectors to Homeland Security, Law Enforcement, and First Responders.

In 2006 GNP entered into a distribution agreement with SPE Atomtex to represent their products in North America. Atomtex has been developing and manufacturing Hand Held Radiation Measurement Instruments for more than 30 years.
